Art and Design Senior Lecturers Mo Lea ( Student Experience ) and Dawn Hesketh-Joslin ( Spatial Design ), attended the annual Creative Bedfordshire Conference 2015, on Thursday 26th March, at The Gateway Building, Polhill Campus, Bedford.
The day was spent exploring opportunities within the creative industries in Bedfordshire, and included workshops on creative collaboration, public speaking, making design choices, PR, social media and creative business planning. Speakers included: Clive Haywood of Velocity and Royal Opera House Bridge, Sandra Dartnell from Make Design Happen, Tom Barwood of Likeminds Consulting, Emma Garrett of Emma Garrett Social Media Services, Paul Hutchinson of Hutch PR and Kayte Judge from Bedford Creative Arts.
