Central Line Stories


Graphic Design student Shaun Michel has been shortlisted in the Association of Illustrators Serco prize for Illustration Award.

The theme for this year’s competition, organised with the was ‘London Stories’ so each poster had to illustrate, or make reference to, a story or event particular to the capital. The stories that each poster reflects are also detailed below in comments from the artists.

Shaun says about his work, “The Central Line was used as a factory to produce aircraft during World War Two. My image represents the support London Transport gave towards the war and how those planes are a part of the vehicles that we use every day.”
