Chris Butcher selected as a winner of the IdeasTap & Barbican: Animate Brief!

BA (Hons) Animation 2009 alumnus Chris Butcher has been selected as one of six winners for the IdeasTap & Barbican Animate Brief for his graduation film “Rewind”.  

His animation is being screened as a short before Akira at the Barbican from 24 – 30 June 2011.

The IdeasTap & Barbican Animate Brief is part of Watch Me Move, a major exhibition on the history of animation at the Barbican Art Gallery from 15 June 2011.

There will be an awards show on 8 September when an overall winner of the competition will be announced.  We are keeping our fingers crossed for Chris!
